Full details of fares available in London can be found at the TfL website here, while the National Rail website can provide options on national rail journeys here.

Oyster Card

The best fare options on buses, trams and tubes can be obtained by using an Oyster Card, which you can get from selected newsagents, tube and bus stations. Some national rail stations offer top-up facilities too.

You can also load your London Travelcard season ticket onto your Oyster Card and this can be used on National Rail. A single fare on the bus using Oyster is £1. For more details on Oyster Card click here.

Travelcard 

For journeys using multiple modes in London a one day Travelcard is your best bet. Most of Suttons stations are in zone 5 while Hackbridge and Sutton Common are in zone 4.

Further discounts can be obtained on travelcards and rail fares if you are in full time education, are unemployed or have a railcard, while if you are disabled or over 60 you can get free travel with a Freedom Pass. Freedom Pass 

Freedom Passes allow older and eligible disabled people who live in a London borough to travel free on London's public transport network.

The pass is paid for by your local borough council and is available from either your local Post Office or town hall or by visiting this website.

Network Railcard 

Network Railcard for £20 gives you 33% off off-peak rail fares anywhere in the South East and extends as far as Kings Lynn, Worcester and Exeter (at weekends and fares over £10 on weekdays after 10am) and all-zone travelcards.
